Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

The reward for good work is more work.

The husbandman [God] is waiting for the precious fruit of the earth [people’s souls] who are dying in sin. Jesus shed His blood; He purchased every person’s salvation through His blood. And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; In fact, under the Law almost everything is cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness [neither release from sin and its guilt, nor cancellation of the merited punishment]. 14 But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?

Give your servants great boldness is preaching the Gospel.

God needs humans to make it happen in the flesh. This is a Jesus preaching year about how He saves, how He died on the cross and rose again, how He saved us from our sins.

My Responsibility

A shepherd focus’s the sheep on a direction. God is raising up a mighty army.

¹⁴ But how will people call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how will they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher (messenger)? ¹⁵ And how will they preach unless they are commissioned and sent [for that purpose]? Just as it is written and forever remains written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!”

It is the goodness of God that draws men to Him.

No matter who you are or what you have done, you can have forgiveness of sins.

Commit this year to telling the world about Jesus Christ.

There is a hunger now for God. We have a responsibility to tell people in love and not being belligerent. There is a better way.

The anointing causes people to confess their faults one to another.

Every time someone got around Jesus, they went right into important things because the anointing will open you up. When you see that happen, it is the Holy Spirit working through you. You will notice this year that there is a depth of conversation that opens up with the people in your sphere.

It is the goodness of God that draws men to repentance.

When someone comes to me about their bad lungs, they don’t need me to tell them to stop smoking. They need to know about a God who is a very present help in time of trouble. They need to know of a God of mercy, a problem remover. Grab them by the hand and tell them that God is going to smite the cancer from their lungs.

This year I will be a wrecking ball to the kingdom of hell.

The blessing of the Lord makes a man rich. He is the Lord God who gives me the ability to create wealth. Money is great when it is in the right hands. The wealth of the wicked is laid up for the just.

God gives the power to create wealth.

¹⁰ When you have eaten your fill, be sure to praise the Lord your God for the good land he has given you.
¹¹ “But that is the time to be careful! Beware that in your plenty you do not forget the Lord your God and disobey his commands, regulations, and decrees that I am giving you today. ¹² For when you have become full and prosperous and have built fine homes to live in, ¹³ and when your flocks and herds have become very large and your silver and gold have multiplied along with everything else, be careful! ¹⁴ Do not become proud at that time and forget the Lord your God, who rescued you from slavery in the land of Egypt. ¹⁵ Do not forget that he led you through the great and terrifying wilderness with its poisonous snakes and scorpions, where it was so hot and dry. He gave you water from the rock! ¹⁶ He fed you with manna in the wilderness, a food unknown to your ancestors. He did this to humble you and test you for your own good. ¹⁷ He did all this so you would never say to yourself, ‘I have achieved this wealth with my own strength and energy.’ ¹⁸ Remember the Lord your God. He is the one who gives you power to be successful, in order to fulfill the covenant he confirmed to your ancestors with an oath.
¹⁹ “But I assure you of this: If you ever forget the Lord your God and follow other gods, worshiping and bowing down to them, you will certainly be destroyed. ²⁰ Just as the Lord has destroyed other nations in your path, you also will be destroyed if you refuse to obey the Lord your God.

Praise opens the windows of heaven over your life.

Side note: Research what is happening in England. The number one boy’s name last year was Mohammad. How to ensure that it does not happen here in the United States. There is no freedom outside of the caliphate.

It is impossible to go down tied to God. Strength to strength.

The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My [Jesus] purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. I am the good shepherd. John 10:10

Read all of John 10. Powerful.

When you understand that there really is a heaven and there really is a hell, it all changes. There is no hiding it. Jesus is the answer.

Let’s win the world for Christ.

Blankets are great. Food is great. Paying someone’s electric bill is good and all. But Jesus changes people’s lives. If all you do for sinners is give them money for the electric bill, you are a terrible person. The rich man called “get me out of here” but there was no escape from the place of weeping and gnashing of teeth. So, what did he say? “Well at least go and tell my brothers, warn them of this place so they may escape this fate!”

Let’s get boots on the ground in 2025.

Side note: I believe this is a literal story. Based on my research, it is the only story where Jesus states a name of someone specifically. It is usually this man or that woman in Jesus’ parables, but here we have ‘the rich man and Lazarus’.

Jesus really rose from the dead, He is really coming back, He really loves you.

Jesus came that we may have life and have it more abundantly.

I carry the same Spirit in me to pray for the sick and cast out devils, and that same Spirit is available to everyone.

Jesus prayed for the sick.

He taught, then He preached, then He healed. There is the formula for winning the lost and having an effective ministry for Christ. That is why it is called the work of the ministry. Pray for the people.

Thank you, Father, for raising up people that care for people. Jesus, give me your heart for people.

God so loved the sinners, the world, the wretched people that He sent His only son so that no one should perish. There is no other way to be saved from sin. If you don’t have Christ, you will go to hell. Yes, it will give you a better life, but it deals with something else: sin.

Don’t roll the dice with your life.

What about you? What have you done for your sin? What can you as a human do for your sin? If you are not born again, there is nothing that can save you from your sin.

Without Jesus, there is no blood for the atonement of your sins. Plan for your eternity. Plan for your children’s eternity.

Is He the Savior or is He not?

Did He rise from the dead or not? There is 10 times more secular evidence of the resurrection of Christ than Julius Cesar existing. You can’t get three criminals into custody and have them tell the same story, yet we have multiple accounts from various outlets verifying He lived, died, and rose again, proving He is the Son of God.

When you eat at a good restaurant, you become an evangelist for that establishment. When you experience something, you can’t stop talking about it. Once you have Jesus change your life, you can’t stop talking about how great He is. He delivered me from so much, and I can’t stop speaking the Name that is above every name.

Jesus is going to help you.

He is going to set you free. Once He knows He can trust that the money He causes to flow your way will be utilized effectively, God will open up the flood gates of heaven.

Who shamed you into not talking about Jesus? People should not be restricted in their preaching of Jesus. They have watched too many poor examples by people who really don’t have a love of God or a love of people.

It’s not religion, it is relationship.

The difference between Jesus and religion: religion shames people for having dirty feet. Jesus kneels down to wash them.

Father, keep me full of compassion for people I would want to punch. Christ came to save sinners. He wishes none to perish and I come into agreement with Him. In Jesus name, amen.

The pulling down of strongholds.

That is why prayer is so important. The devils main work is to blind you from the glorious Gospel. But once that lifts, there is a hunger in people’s hearts. Be ready in season and out of season to preach, whether the time is favorable or not.

God’s going to save my whole family, because He already saved the worst of them all; me.

It is not pro-life or pro-choice, it is not Trump or Biden, it’s not evolution or creation. It is the love of God that sets people free. That’s when my life changed! August 22nd, 2014, I understood what “the love of God” meant. Jesus loved me. Jesus loves me. It has been such a journey the last 10 years. Victory to victory!

Get rid of sin before sin gets rid of you!

Father, I confess and repent of sin today. I believe in my heart that you raised Jesus from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord and my Savior. Make me clean. I am a Christian, God is my father, Heaven is my home. Thank you, Jesus. Amen.

Wow, Jonathan makes an incredible connection. And I just encountered a deep, personal understanding of heaven and hell. Just wow. More to come on this. I have some questions. It was toward the middle of the sermon.

I do hope you possess the mind of a student. We don’t know everything, but we should utilize our time wisely, increasing in knowledge.

According to Proverbs 1:7, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge”. This means that reverence for and obedience to God is the foundation and source of true wisdom and understanding. I love that.

Now that I have successfully traveled into multiple rabbit holes, I must pause for the time being.

Today is the last day of 21 days of prayer and fasting and it is impossible to not reap a harvest on what you sow.

Today is the last day, but it is really just beginning.
