Next meeting for WEMCSA is Tuesday, September 9th, 2025 at 6:30pm
Next month, we will be picking back up with our regular meetings of the Woman Entrepreneurs in Monroe County and Surrounding Areas group—and I truly cannot wait. It’s always a refreshing time to connect with like-minded women who are building businesses, raising families, managing households, and walking by faith.
This past year has been incredible for my business. I’ve seen doors open, connections made, and income streams multiply. But none of it was by my own strength or cleverness. I give all the glory to God.
In this post, I will share a few thoughts as I sit and reflect on all the Lord has done for my family and me. What He does for one, He will do for all.
Let’s get into it.
He has been faithful every
step of the way
The world often tells us to hustle harder, build your brand, manifest success—but Scripture reminds us that true provision comes from the hand of the Lord.
God is my provision, not my job or work
“But remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth…”
—Deuteronomy 8:18
This verse is foundational for Christian business owners. It reminds us that our ideas, work ethic, connections, and even our desire to build something meaningful all come from God.
Godly Wealth Building
“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights…”
—James 1:17
Whether it’s a new client, a fresh idea, or unexpected profit, it’s all a gift. As women entrepreneurs, our mission is not just to build wealth—but to build wealth God’s way. That means:
- Operating with integrity even when shortcuts seem easier
- Honoring God with our tithe and generosity
- Seeking His direction before making major decisions
- Valuing people over profit
- Building a legacy, not just a brand
There is a reward for living for the Lord
“The blessing of the Lord makes a man rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.”
—Proverbs 10:22
When God blesses, it offers lasting value and peace without burden or sorrow that often come from striving in our own strength or as the world does. This verse reminds us that true prosperity comes from God’s favor, not just human effort.
May we never lose sight of who our ultimate CEO is
I’m entering this next season full of gratitude and expectation. I believe God is raising up women in business to not only flourish in the marketplace but to be light bearers, kingdom funders, and community changers. We’re not just growing businesses—we’re growing impact.
As our meetings resume, I pray this group continues to be a source of encouragement, wisdom, and prayerful support for one another.
Here’s to building wisely, working faithfully, and stewarding everything for His glory.
Until next time, my friend.
