Understanding the Judgment Seat of Christ

You do not want to miss this

No good thing will be withheld from those who walk uprightly. You may tithe, but if you do not live a holy life, conduct your business honestly, etc. it will handcuff your advancement.

Prosperity is not a get rich quick scheme

According to Psalm 1, the righteous are like a tree. They will prosper in every season, and it will follow you all the days of your life.

There is a favor in God and a blessing in God, but it is surely not a get rich quick scheme. (Tiffs testimony in the beginning of trusting God each day for a place to stay. Makes me think of the feed for my animals and family. He never quit tithing or giving, nor will I.)

The righteous are like a tree

They were homeless then, but now they lack for nothing. Believe the Word of God is true or it is not. Whatever I do will prosper.

Get up every day and read your Bible and prayer and the Holy Spirit will show you how to grow because you must grow. It is God’s command to you to grow throughout your life.

Whatever you have, wherever you are at, be diligent and faithful.

A Spirit of Excellence

God will bless you if you bless Him. Bring God your best. Look your best, be your best.

I want to know that I did everything within my power to make sure my life lines up with the Scriptures. Never give up on the principles of the Bible.

The tithe is a part of your covenant with God. He who sows generously reaps generously.

The Judgement Seat of Christ

So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it.

2 Corinthians 5:9

Make up your mind to be a diligent student of the Scriptures every day of your life. It will cause you to increase in every area of your life.

Every year, your IQ will grow if you stay rooted in the Word of God. God will increase your mind all the days of your life. Most problems in your life aren’t on account of the devil but on account of our poor decisions.

Our goal is to please God. Choosing to do this will change the trajectory of your life.

No Bible, No Breakfast.

Before you feed the appetites of your flesh, be sure to always feed the appetites of the spirit. Have time in prayer and Bible reading before anything else.

Always keep your focus on YOUR relationship with God. Nothing else matters.

Every believer will one day stand at the Judgment Seat and be judged by Christ. We will receive accordingly to the good and evil we have done.

For God so loved the world

Your mission is over all that you have influence with.

One of the ways you please God is you are constantly looking for people that need Christ. It is impossible to live a Christ filled life and not have a burden for the lost.

We have utter dependence on God

All believers do not waiver on:

  1. Literal, physical, visible return of Christ to the Earth.
  2. Bodily resurrection of the dead.
  3. Final judgment of all people. (14 Major Final Prophesies on Tiff Shuttlesworth YouTube Channel).

The Seven Judgements of the Bible

  1. Judgment Seat of Christ.
  2. Judgment of Old Testament believers.
  3. Judgment for believers that die in the Tribulation. (Rapture before the Tribulation). The Bible clearly teaches it. Revelation 3:10. “I’ll keep you from it”. Revelation 6-19 never mentions the Church. The Bible does say though that the greatest revival in the world will be during the Tribulation. They will pay a price because they will be beheaded and martyred.
  4. Judgement that awaits the Jews who are alive after the Tribulation. All of Israel will be saved (found in the book of Romans).
  5. Judgement for Gentiles that survive the Tribulation.
  6. Judgement of Satan and the Fallen Angels.
  7. The Great Throne Judgment.

Let’s focus on the Judgment Seat of Christ

The AI Overview on Google says this about the bema judgement or the Judgement Seat of Christ:

It is a concept in Christian theology that describes a future examination and reward for believers, distinct from the final judgement of unbelievers. It is not a judgement for salvation or damnation, but rather a time of account for the believer’s actions and services while on earth.

Every individual who has repented of sin received salvation by faith and made Jesus Lord of their life will appear individually before God.

What is the Church Age?

  1. The gospel is preached by the Jews during the Tribulation because everything goes back to the Jewish people.
  2. Reading Romans chapter 11 and 12 is our homework.
  3. The Church Age began on the day of Pentecost. Some say the seed was planted when Jesus was born aka the first advent.
  4. The Church Age ends when we are Raptured aka the second advent.
  5. The Judgement Seat is going on while the Tribulation is happening.

What will happen?

You won’t be judged for your sins. The reason you want to be there is because at the seat (there will be memory) you cannot lose your salvation. Your sins were judged at the cross.

We will be reviewed and rewarded. It is a judgement reserved for believers alone. If you make it there, there is no way to lose your salvation. And don’t show up alone.

Things you will be judged on:

  1. How you treat other believers. (Matthew 10:41-42)
  2. How you use your abilities. (Matthew 25:14-29) (1 Corinthians 12:4) (2 Timothy 1:6)
  3. How you managed your time.
    • Redeem your time for the days are evil.
    • Walk circumspectly before the Lord. Walk in integrity and in covenant.
    • What I do for God is valuable.
  4. How you discipline your appetite.
  5. How many souls you shared the gospel with and led to Christ.
    • Take friends and family with you on the day of Judgment.
    • This is where your responsibilities are determined. Some will manage small things and other big things.
    • We are coming back to rule and to reign. Your status in the government is determined now not then. Train.
  6. How faithful you were to the Bible and God’s people.
    • How we support those in the kingdom.
    • We all have an obligation to accelerate legitimate ministry.
    • What we make happen for others God makes happen for us.
  7. How we used our money on earth (Matthew 6:1-4) (1 Timothy 6:17-19)
  8. How faithful we were with our earthly jobs and vocations. (Colossians 3:22-24)
    • If your boss pays you for an eight hour day but you only work for 4. You will give an account for the thievery.
    • If you want to be blessed by God work for your boss like he is Jesus.
    • Psalm 1 says blessed are those who do not walk in the counsel of the ungodly.
      • When you get saved start praying and fasting about becoming an employer not an employee. Then the ungodly have no way to touch the accelerator of your life.
      • Ever hear of someone losing their retirement? Do not put all your eggs in one basket. Your earthly boss is a couple bad decisions away from screwing you out of your retirement.

How can I know that my heart is right with God?

There has to be a time in your life you recognize your sin for all have sinned. That takes humility and integrity.

Repent of your sin. Unless you do, you cannot enter the kingdom of God. It literally means a U turn. You are off route, make a u turn. If you are not walking in the favor and forgiveness of God, you are off route. It is a turning of your back to sin and turn your heart to Christ.

You have to receive Christ. It is the only way to have right relationship with God. There is no other name that has salvation. Everyone Jesus called in the Bible, He called publicly and personally. When we get married, honor war heroes, inaugurate public leaders, it is all done publicly. It is like it solidifies it.

You are dating Jesus, you are not married.

Only the bride has taken vows personally and publicly. Jesus is coming for a bride, not a fiance’.

Today I chose the Judgment Seat of Christ. Tell Christ that you want to make Him Lord and Savior right now.

Until next time, my friend.
