How to Partake in God’s Divine Power

If you take the power out of Christianity, you have nothing.
You will always be on the prayer list.

But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.

John 1:12 KJV
I have a responsibility to tell people what I know

You clean the inside of the cup, not just the outside.

You don’t wash the outside and drink from the inside. The outside may be pristine, but the inner man is still dirty with sin.

For out of the heart come evil thoughts and plans, murders, adulteries, sexual immoralities, thefts, false testimonies, slanders (verbal abuse, irreverent speech, blaspheming).

Matthew 15:19 AMP

Have an encounter with God

Christianity fixes the heart while other religions think if they control the outside works, it will fix the inner man. People must have an encounter with God’s Spirit that changes them from the inside outside.

For His divine power has bestowed on us [absolutely] everything necessary for [a dynamic spiritual] life and godliness, through [a]true and personal knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. For by these He has bestowed on us His precious and magnificent promises [of inexpressible value], so that by them you may escape from the immoral freedom that is in the world because of disreputable desire, and become sharers of the divine nature.

2 Peter 1:3-4 AMP

How do you become a partaker of the divine nature?

By knowing these great and precious promises. The Word is what gives you power in this world. Not everything in the world is corrupted. The Word is the incorruptible seed of the God.

The Bible can be trusted; it is the Word of God in print. God’s Word is true and reliable. When you read and believe the promises found in the Bible, you will escape the forces of this world by His great and precious promises.

Jesus came to die. They didn’t have to drag Him kicking and screaming. He came willingly.

Man was made a little lower to God

In Psalms 8:1-8, ‘angels’ translates to small “e” ‘elohim’. Man has great value. The lost were bought with Christ’s blood before they were ever born.

Dominion over the fish in the sea

Jesus said the same work we seen Him do, we will do.

  • He told Peter to let down his nets and they were so full the boats began to sink.
  • Jesus also commanded him to catch a fish that would be found with a gold coin in its mouth to be used to pay taxes.
  • God appointed a fish and a worm, among other things, in the story of Jonah.

Some people think that prayer is for emergencies only, but this is something that the believer is commissioned to walk in every day of their life.

You are the light of the world, the salt of the earth

But if salt loses its savor, then what?

We are what preserves the earth from rotting just as salt is used to preserve meat. You can’t be salt of the earth if you can’t even get your own act together.

I said, “You are [a]gods;
Indeed, all of you are sons of the Most High.

Psalm 82:6 AMP

Jesus claims that He and the Father are one

Read John 10:29-31.

I am in the Father and the Father is in me.

Did Christ ever include anyone else in this? Yes, you are raised now and seated together with Jesus.

Where is Jesus seated? At the right hand of God. So we are seated at the right hand.

Having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

2 Timothy 3:5 NIV

When Jesus made the claim that He and the Father were one, the people around Him were enraged. They picked up stones to stone Him to death. We are told later that they did all these things out of envy of Him. They hated that someone else was wanted by the people.

Do not be like those mentioned in 2 Timothy 3:5. They have a form of godliness, where it is all routines, not a relationship.

Be a partaker of the divine nature

Read John 10:31-39.

The divine nature is what separates Christianity from other religions. What Jesus did was cleanse our sin, not cover it like the blood of bulls and goats.

God bought you and me with a high price.

[Read John G. Lake’s Flashings of God]

In Deuteronomy 34:7 we read that God said to Moses, “Meet me on top of Mt Nebo, before you die at 120 years old”. Moses made the trip to the top of that mountain at 120 years old and Moses eyes were not dim and his strength not gone. And he did not have the Holy Ghost. What more can happen for us having it live on the inside?

One day this mortal flesh will be completely overwhelmed by God’s power, and we will have glimpses of it here on earth.

All the Glory Must Go to the Lord

Research Steven Jefferys Ministry

He took God’s glory and within one month was riddled with arthritis.

Be like Paul instead

Do what Paul did and have a revelation that the divine nature is in you but do not claim the glory. We are people just like you, but we have had a revelation of the gospel. As we give Him the glory, He will give us more glory back to disperse out. He will use us to shake our generation one more time.

You are the master over sickness

Sickness doesn’t master you. If you keep the relationship straight, you will go far with God. Be dead to sin.

You cannot try to have the divine nature

You must receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. As many will receive Him will He cause people to be called the sons and daughters of God.

If you wish to be partakers in the Divine Nature, call out to God.

I give you my life. I turn my back on sin. I believe in my heart you raised Jesus from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord and Savior. By the blood of Jesus, I am saved, forgiven, and clean.

I bless you in the name of the Lord Jesus

The divine life will even get into your finances

When you take what you get in your hand and put it toward the gospel, I will add unto you declares the Lord. You must have a care for the kingdom of God.

Sow seed, build something, and then receive your harvest.

Read Luke 5:1-7 NLT.

By putting God’s kingdom first, everything turned for Peter. When he put his personal business up for the things of the Lord, his boat was overflowing and his nets breaking.

Claim that net breaking, overflowing power today in Jesus name.

Until next time, my friend.
