A Beautiful Season of Growth, Giving, and Grit

It’s been a whirlwind of a summer—but the kind that fills your soul and reminds you why you’re doing what you’re doing.

From early mornings on the homestead to late nights nurturing newborn piglets, I’ve been soaking up every moment of this busy, blessed season.

Let’s get into it.

Our First Litter of Piglets

We welcomed 9 beautiful piglets into the world—and Sowsy is doing an ok job as a first-time mama. Two little ones are thriving in a warm pen with her and four have adjusted well to milk replacer from a bottle. It has been such a joy to watch them grow and play.

There’s something about seeing new life on the homestead that resets your perspective and reminds you of the simple, sacred rhythms of nature. I will elaborate more on this adventure in a later post!

The Garden is Flourishing

Despite the long to-do lists, the garden is bursting. The rows are green, the harvests have been steady, and the joy of feeding my family from the soil we’ve worked hard to tend is unmatched. The kids have been helping too, learning the value of hard work and the delight of fresh-picked produce.

Stay tuned, more to come!

Business is Blooming

From painting to cake pops to major cleaning projects, the momentum has picked up in exciting ways. I’m deeply thankful for the doors God is opening and for the way this season has stretched me in the best possible ways. There are more behind-the-scenes stories to share very soon!

And Then—There’s the Giving

This year I’ve been stirred not just to build but to bless. I have done many charitable projects in 2025, and we are hoping to keep that momentum going. Which brings me to our next event.

Through a local back-to-school rummage sale hosted at Admiral Acres, I am hoping to raise funds for my daughter’s homeschool curriculum while also making clothes and essentials available to families in need for the coming school year. Everything will be donation-based—take what you need, give what you can—because sometimes we all just need a little grace and support.

If you or a family you know are in need, get in touch with us today. Please leave a detailed supply list of all your needs and a good mailing address to send supplies to.

*Supplies are subject to availability. Submission does not guarantee delivery of any or all supplies.

Times of Refreshing

The Bible says:

“A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.” — Proverbs 11:25

I’ve felt that truth firsthand. Whether it’s giving clothes, helping a neighbor, or bottle-feeding tiny piglets at midnight, this season of pouring out has left me full in the best way.

If you’ve been thinking about doing something charitable—big or small—consider this your sign. Even the smallest act of kindness can be the biggest blessing in someone else’s life.

Here’s to More Growing, Giving, and Grace

Thank you for following our journey. Whether you follow for the farm life, the business ideas, or just a little inspiration, I’m so glad you’re here.

And if you feel led to join in or support our efforts—reach out.

We’re all in this together.

Until next time, my friend.
